City-airports connections


From Leonardo da Vinci Airport in Fiumicino

Two railway connections are available:

  • An express train called Leonardo Express connects the airport to Rome's main railway station, Termini, in 30 minutes. One-way fare: € 14
  • A regular train (ultimately bound to Fara Sabina) connects the airport to all railway stations in Rome (including Roma Trastevere). One-way fare: € 8.

The railway stations closest to the Parliament are Roma Termini and Roma Trastevere.

Enter "Fiumicino aeroporto" in the "FROM" field and "Roma" in the "TO" field:

Alternatively, taxis are available from terminals T1, T2, T3, and T5 at Fiumicino airport.
Taxi drivers must apply a flat rate of 40 for all destinations within the city walls (as is the case with the Parliament) for a maximum load of 4 passengers including baggage.

From Ciampino airport

The airport is connected to Rome's Termini Station by a bus service.

There are three bus operators:

  • COTRAL/SCHIAFFINI (http://www.schiaffini.it): a single fare is € 3,90 and tickets may be purchased in the bus.
  • SITBUSSHUTTLE (www.sitbusshuttle.it). € 8 for a single fare.
  • TERRAVISION (www.terravision.eu) This service is operated in conjunction with the arrival of flights of a number of airline carriers. Single fare: € 8.
